Environmentally-friendly (and therefore kind to your baby too!) disposable nappies, wipes and nappy bags are now available at very reasonable prices! Beaming Baby nappies are bio-degradable, so not only helping you to do your bit for the environment, also avoiding harsh chemicals coming into contact with your baby’s skin, therefore reducing the risk of nappy rash, eczema and other skin irritations.
Organic baby wipes (containing 30 x the amount of Aloe Vera found in some other wipes!), are also incredibly soothing and kind for your baby, suitable from newborn. They are flushable and 100% biodegradable.

Su (and 8-month old baby Isaac) have a turquoise Kari Me they bought last autumn. Sue says: "I spent ages choosing the sling that was right for my son and I, but it was worth it and I think I definitely made the right choice with a Kari-Me. It is so easy to use, I can have it on and be carrying my baby in minutes. I feel completely confident that I am wearing my baby safely and especially as there are no clips that I could trap his little fingers in. We use it to walk to the shops or local children's centre, for walking around town or in the supermarket or when we walk the dogs. I alternate between the buggy and sling but the sling is so much easier to transport. I take it in the car with me which means we can go on impromtu walks, or that we can drive to the local lake with another friend and her baby and buggy - we'd never all get there geared up for walking in one car if we both used buggies. I don't even need to put it in the boot, as it fits in the glovebox. We definitely get more exercise and fresh air than we would if we didn't own the sling. I also love the closeness for times when my little man is a tad grizzly, being in the sling can really settle him, or help him to drop off to sleep. On days when he just wants to be held, I can pop him in the sling and have two spare hands for housework or whatever else I need to get on with. When he was really little he could stay snug in his Kari-Me and feed discreetly. I've washed it and it dries really quickly, which is great as I don't like to be without it for too long."
